INSTRUCTIONS

INTERNSHIPS

  1.  Directorate General Research and Development Establishment (DGRDE) being hub of vehicles, weapons and optronics in Pakistan offers internships to students/ graduates of HEC recognized universities. Internship is conducted in batches for Engineering Students and Graduates. Applications/ forms for internship are to be submitted to HR sec through concerned university Students Affairs Department/ direct to HR respectively at any time. Duration of each batch is 2 to 3 weeks.

2. Following disciplines are offered.

  1. Mechanical Engineering          (e)      Auto Mobile Engineering
  2. Mechatronics Engineering       (f)       Electronic Engineering
  3. Industrial Engineering             (g)      Any other related to                                                        Project at RDE
  4. Software Engineering            

    

3   Students from selected HEC recognized universities who           have passed 2nd year/ 6 semesters and graduates registered     with PEC are eligible to apply for internship. However, students of 4-6 semesters can also be considered based on availability of       seats.

4.  Stipend, accommodation and transportation shall not be provided.

5.  Students have to be sponsored by the respective institute to qualify his/her selection for internship and subject to the security clearance generally which takes 6-8 weeks for graduates PEC registration certificate will be required. 

                    HOW TO APPLY

  1. Internship forms are available at RDE website and can be download online (link given below)
  2. Complete filled forms duly verified by the concerned DPO/ CPO/SSP bearing verification number (VRC No) & date and countersigned by head of department/ Institute.
  3. Submit the forms through Students Affairs Department of the concerned University by students and direct to HR section DGRDE by graduates in 3 copies along with fresh photographs with blue background
  4. University is to submit all forms with recommendation letter in case of students and in case of graduates submit it with application and PEC Registration Certificate direct  to DGRDE at following address:-
